Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

Open World respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: email address, username, and hashed password, required for authentication.
  • Game data: characters, vehicles, properties, progress (XP, level, in-game cash), active jobs, missions, and play sessions.
  • Technical data: anonymous identifiers generated by the game, session logs used for anti-cheat, and position/vehicle info sent by the client only for multiplayer functionality.
  • Purchases (only if enabled): in-app purchases are validated through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store; we do not store card details.

2. How we use your data

  • To create and protect your player account.
  • To save your in-game progress and owned items.
  • To calculate game rewards according to server rules.
  • To detect abuse, cheating, or behavior that violates the rules.
  • To respond to support requests.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use service providers (hosting, database, authentication) only to run the app. They process data under signed processing agreements.

4. Security

Authentication uses secure tokens. Economy operations run atomically on the server, and access to personal data is restricted by database-level security rules.

5. Cookies and local storage

The website uses local storage only to keep your authentication session. The Unity client may store settings and cosmetic data locally (paint, decals, custom vehicle text) on your device.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data and account by contacting the team through the admin panel or support email. Account deletion is irreversible and will erase your in-game progress.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be announced in-game or on the website before it takes effect.

8. Contact

For privacy-related questions, contact the team through the admin panel or the project support address.
